Masala Chicken roast


This juicy tender roast is best for festivals and grand parties.

Ingredients :


  • 1 whole chicken with skin.
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt or adjust to your taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper.
  • 1 tsp roasted crushed red chili
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp roasted coriander powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 whole lemon's juice
  • 2 tbsp curd

Directions :


  1. Wash the Chicken and clean the skin so that no feathers remain on the skin.
  2. Soak the chicken in vinegar for 10 min and wash it off.
  3. Pat dry the chicken.
  4. In a bowl combine all the other ingredients and rub the chicken with the mixture inside out.Marinade the chicken in it over night in the fridge.
  5. Pre heat the oven to 300 deg.
  6. Put the chicken on a baking tray and cover it with a foil.
  7. Bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the foil and increase the oven temp to highest.
  9. Allow the chicken to take a nice golden texture from all sides Max 20-30 min. (or it will become too dry).
  10. Serve the chicken with Salad , roasted veggies and garlic bread.
